Snow Plowing

The Town of Hammond uses the St. Croix County Highway Department to plow all the Town roads. The Town has the roads plowed days, nights, weekends and holidays depending on the timing of the snow fall. There is a minimum of 2 trucks doing the Town roads. Snowplowing starts at different parts off the Town each snowfall so the same area is not always done first. Even if only one lane is open during a snow storm the roads will be open to road width when the storm is done.

DO NOT PLOW SNOW ACROSS ANY TOWN, COUNTY OR STATE ROADS (WI State Statute 346.94(5) plowing snow onto highways.)
